And you thought the original was gay...

You ain't read nothing yet! I actually never thought you could "gay up" the Wizard of Oz, but dayum, Mark Pace did it big time. Starting with the gorgeous hunk on the cover (that's Donny the farmboy), all the characters are gay! Well, most anyway.
OK, so it still pretty much follows the regular plot outline that you would imagine from the original story, but there are a ton of fun changes and twists which make you want to keep reading just to see what the author will do with the story next.
Now I totally want to see this version made into a movie. I'm already casting a ton of hot guys in my head.

And Toto Too!

I'm so glad Toto was included. It wouldn't be a Wizard of Oz inspired story without that cute dog. In addition to all the really cool changes Mark Pace made to the story, I wish he had also made Toto talk, that would have been fun to get the puppy's perspective on the story.
Still, it was a fun trip to Oz. I felt like I was discovering new things about old friends.

Still laughing

I had to put down my Kindle at one point because I was afraid I would drop it from laughing so hard at one particular part. All I can say here thank God nuts grow on trees because that scene was too funny for words. There are lots of other humorous parts too.
Great way to spend a few hours reading. Highly recommended.
