Baby Graci Day 1 a success thank goodness for this book

My friend just had a baby girl and I got her this as a gift. She brought the book to the hospital for post c-section. During the first day we made a point of review the 3 cries a newborn makes. So when baby Graci would cry we were identifying her needs and meeting them immediately. She was calm, cared for and got her needs met quickly. I love this book and it took away much of the confusion.

I was a skeptic, but this works!

A great resource for parents or caregivers of infants. This is the hardest thing about being a new parent, trying to figure out what the baby wants when they're crying!
Dunstan describes every sound, how the infant makes the sound, and why the sound it tied to a baby's needs. The book is really clear, and a great thing to have at hand - I have Dunstan's dvds from some years ago, but there are times you just need a book.
Highly recommend!

Love Love Love!

Love Love Love this women's ideas! i just had my fourth child and it has made my life so much easier! I can not believe that i couldn't hear the "secret language" in my prior children. My little one has reflux and just being able to hear what she wants and when has made the process so much easier and.... get this! Sleep!!!!!!! I still have to wake for my baby but because she is calm,and the process is so easy, its a case of feed, change and back to bed. no rocking for ages, no burping forever. Brilliant. One point though, watch the episode on utube that the author does with Oprah. It really makes the whole concept easier to understand and follow. And i wish that she had a little dvd in the back of the book, just to make it easier. My girlfriend bought the kindle version and she said the cries were inbedded in the script, so maybe thats your ticket!
